Nutrients
of Worship (N.O.W.)
As God's
children, our worship should be lived out!
These
scriptures are much needed vitamins and nutrients to aid our healthy walk
with Christ. They provide strength, encouragement, conviction and
direction for our spiritual lives.

John
16:31-33
"You
believe at last!" Jesus answered. "But a time is coming,
and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will
leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this
world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
It’s
so easy to believe when we are all gathered together in the walls of a
church. So easy to believe when the company we are surrounded by
are all like-minded. What happens when we are removed from those
comfort spots? Will we still believe?
Jesus
was speaking to His Disciples telling them ‘finally you believe’; He was
telling them that opposition was about to happen where it was going to
be hard to keep believing. He was nearing Calvary, and he was telling
them that they would all divide into their own hurt/lack of understandings,
and they would scatter. Yet He was not challenging them with his
question but encouraging them to keep believing.
No
matter what shakes us, no matter what we can't fully comprehend, no matter
where we find ourselves, we can still Believe in Christ. We can still
take hold the Victory in Him. I pray we don't allow our faith to
disappear just because of our lack of seeing the full picture. No
matter what, you can always know that Jesus is the Lord and Savior.
For
a long time I took the things I learned and remembered to be what I believed.
And those things I didn't fully understand were just a possibility or myth.
However now I thank God for trials and discipline. Now my life has
changed and I can see clearly that the One that I didn’t fully comprehend
I now fully trust! And He has overcome this world!
Family,
Keep Believing!
