Nutrients
of Worship (N.O.W.)
As God's
children, our worship should be lived out!
These
scriptures are much needed vitamins and nutrients to aid our healthy
walk
with Christ. They provide strength, encouragement, conviction and
direction for our spiritual lives.

Isaiah
43:19 Behold I will do a new thing now it
shall spring forth shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness and
rivers in the desert.
This prophetic verse was fulfilled when Jesus
Christ, the
“New Thing”, made a way through the wilderness and the desert so that
we might
all have our thirst quenched with rivers of water that never run dry. He came and died so that we may live. That sounds so familiar to those of us who
are Christians. It’s just a basic fact
that we all know.
Why should I bother telling you, of all
people, of this New
Thing once more, which happened over 2000 years ago? I think the New
Thing
needs to always remain front and center in our every thought and action
in our
everyday lives. No matter how long ago
it has been since you received this New Thing, new life in Jesus
Christ, there
are so many more out there who need to have this same promise fulfilled
in
their lives just as you have.
The whole point of having something new is to
show it off,
to use it, to share it. When you get a
new car what is the first thing you usually do? No,
not the part about wondering how in the world are you going
to pay for it You usually go show if off; maybe ask a friend to take a
long
ride out in the country. Most people
will use a new car everyday. They don’t
just park it in a garage, go back in ten years or so and make sure it
is still
there.
The whole purpose of having Jesus isn’t to
keep Him parked
out back somewhere and go check every few years and make sure He is
still there. He isn’t just for you to keep
all to
yourself either. Go show Him off.
There is a big world waiting on you to drive
up and show
them this magnificent New Thing that is available for the asking. Invite someone today to take a ride with you
that they will never regret.
