Nutrients
of Worship (N.O.W.)
As God's
children, our worship should be lived out!
These
scriptures are much needed vitamins and nutrients to aid our healthy
walk
with Christ. They provide strength, encouragement, conviction and
direction for our spiritual lives.

“And the LORD shall guide thee continually,
and satisfy thy
soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a
watered
garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of thee shall build
the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many
generations;
and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of
paths to
dwell in.” Isaiah 58:11-12
In Him, Through Him, With Him, To Him
This thought comes from the verses above.
These verses give
us a wonderful promise from God. The
Lord will continually guide us. He will satisfy our souls. We shall be
like an unfailing
flourishing garden in Him. Through
Him
we will rebuild that which was broken down. We will be peacemakers,
repairing
and restoring paths wherein we may dwell together with Him. We will lay firm foundations for many
generations to serve Him.
John Gill's commentary on verse 12 has this
to say about
each of us being repairers of the breach. "Christians of various
denominations, who now break off and separate one from another, will be
of the
same sentiment and judgment in doctrine and discipline; they shall see
eye to
eye, and cement together, and all breaches will be made up, and there
will be
no schism in the body; and they shall dwell together in unity, and walk
in the
same paths of faith and duty, of truth and holiness; and such who will
be the
happy instruments of all this will have much honor, and be called by
these
names." *
We can do all things, but only if we are
firmly planted in
Jesus Christ soul, body and mind. Through Him teaching us by His word,
with Him
living in us, and guiding us every step of the way by His Spirit, all
things
are possible. To Him may all glory, honor, and praise be given from all
generations forever; having firm foundations, gladly working to repair
and
restore, unified, dwelling in the same paths together in harmony,
serving Him.
Romans
11:36 "For from him and through him are all things.
To Him be the glory forever! Amen!"

John. "Commentary on Isaiah 58:12".
