Nutrients
of Worship (N.O.W.)
As God's
children, our worship should be lived out!
These
scriptures are much needed vitamins and nutrients to aid our healthy
walk
with Christ. They provide strength, encouragement, conviction and
direction for our spiritual lives.

This I say therefore, and testify in the
Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity
of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from
the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the
blindness of their heart:
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead
and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk
circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.
Ephesians 4:17-18; 5:14-15
"ARISE AND
WALK THE WALK"
As
Christians, we often hear that we should not just say we are
Christians; we have to walk the walk if we are going to talk the talk.
We should indeed walk different walks than that of the world. Our
every step should be a living testimony of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Verse 18 speaks of understanding that which is
darkened. Some actually do have blind hearts. I
now more clearly understand the song, “Open The Eyes Of My Heart,
Lord”. He truly does give new understanding to those who
are in the dark, who won't allow their hearts to see Him, those who are
alienated from Him. He wondrously does open the eyes of many
blinded hearts so that His light may be seen.
Now that we have come from darkness to light, we shouldn't be
sleeping. After we gain understanding, after we have the
eyes of our hearts opened, we should awake and arise! Christ has
given us His light. Now we should walk circumspectly as wise not
as fools.
