If your life were blessed, 
would you still kneel to pray,
And thank God for His blessings, 
or would you be led astray?

If you had no troubles, 
would you still seek His grace?
Or just lead your ‘flawless life’, 
with the same flaws day by day?

If you had no questions, 
would you care what His Word has to say,
Or would you live your ‘ideal life’ 
by your own idealistic ways?

There is a reason life’s not perfect.
He’s the potter, we’re the clay.
If our lives were not dampened,
We could not conform to His ways.
