"What
If"

What if God stopped
for a moment, to tend to His own need?
Just at that very
moment a sinner cries for deliverance and the chance to be freed.
What if for a day,
God got depressed and then shut the door.
While in that very
moment someone suicidal, cried out and said no more.
What if heaven took
the day off, because it was having a bad day?
Just then the screams
of a mother, as her only child was buried away.
What if Jesus got fed
up, with the cares of the earth?
Just at that moment
a baby’s being born, and suddenly death took over and no longer was there
birth.
What if Jesus got offended
at the things that the Father said?
While in that very
moment a family sat down to eat, and no longer was their life in the bread.
What if these things
occurred in heaven, as they do here on earth?
Then who would be
the light, tell me who would be the first?
What if heaven imitated
us and separated per their race?
Then what would be
the purpose of seeing Him face to face?
'What if' is the question
that God asked of me.
That without perfect
love and unity, there would be no trinity!
What if it was cold
and rainy and heaven shut down for a day?
Just at that moment
this sinner knelt to pray.
What if heaven’s bank
account dried up, so Jesus shut the door.
And at this very moment
a drug addict cried out for Him, and then suddenly hit the floor.
So when we give our
excuses as to why we cannot worship God each day.
Then the lives we
could have changed, if we only persevered and showed them the way.
What if I was not standing
here, to tell you that heaven cares?
Would you continue
to walk around and give the lost and empty stares?
Would one of you cry
out as Jesus does and then seek to save the lost?
Or would you just
go home after church and say Pastor had a good thought?
What ifs are what the
lost cry out, to God each and every day.
Asking if He’s real
or has He just gone away.
What ifs are what the
lost cry out, each moment of their life.
Church we have to
wake up and get back in the fight.
What if is the question
that I pose to each and everyone.
That the only hope
the lost have is IN us, Jesus Christ the Son!
