Another Day

Who knows what all tomorrow brings?
I’ve written a short list of things:
Another day for the sun to rise,
Another day to keep looking to the skies
Another day to show your love,
And praise the Father up above,
Another day to seek forgiveness for old sins,
Not just from God, but also old friends,
It’ll be another day to do some good,
Doing something Jesus would.
Another day to make amends,
One day closer to the end.
Another day that we have spent
Doing things we should repent.
Another day for the sun to set,
But wait I’m not quite finished yet,
This list could go on and on,
So just one more thing and I’ll be gone.
Tomorrow brings another chance to pray
And thank God for another day.
