Chelsea's Story

Dude is a two year old Border Collie. When I was 13, I begged my parents for a dog and, finally, after a lot of prayer, Dude was a fat wiggly present under the Christmas tree. My mom prayed to get me the best dog and low-and-behold, Dude was the only dog left for sale at the Amish farm. I began training him the same day I got him.

As I was growing spiritually, my thoughts turned to questions,, "How can God use my training abilities for His glory? Why didn't He give me a gift of speaking so I could easily tell others about Jesus Christ?" In the midst of my prayers, I learned that God had already led Patty Zemanick and Sandra Hammack to write and illustrate a children's book, "A Walk With Papa", which outlines the way to salvation. God provided me with a dog who adores children and learning tricks, and He gave me the gift of training.

My goal for this ministry is to show children and their parents God's peace, joy and salvation by using an Amish farm dog, a teenager (me), a book called, "A Walk With Papa", and most of all - His Glory!

Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
