God's Words 1
Hearing God’s word from the mouth of my children was like hearing the angels sing. As I drove in darkness, hearing the words of God spoken from the mouths of my children, the tears flowed with thanksgiving to God for that holy moment in the car with the boys, their Bibles, and His word. How precious is the sound of my Father’s word being read to me by my children. How precious that they understood how priceless and precious is the Word of God.  (Click here for more)

Feathers
As I began to focus on the good, I felt a warmth come over me, like you feel when you are wrapped in a quilt with your head on a pillow - warm, cozy, protected, comfortable, loved. I sensed that God was telling me, “I’ve got you. Your head is on my chest and you can hear my heartbeat. I have you wrapped with my feathers, protecting you from harm and from any attack that may come your way.   (Click here for more)

Water
As I was working in the hot trailer, I was sweating profusely, my face was red from the heat and stress of the lifting / moving, and I was thinking, “I am going to get this done so I can take a break, get some water, sit in the shade.” About that time, I heard someone say, “Miss Mary”. I looked up and saw Gordon, my 16-year old friend (one of our crew members) standing in the doorway of the trailer holding out a cup of cold water. Life Lesson - Insignificance
During the three months of quiet, I realized that there are so many areas in my life that are in need of repair. Repair that only the sweet hand of the Lord can reveal and fix. (Click here for more)

Being His Bride
The Bible says that if we start to stray from our relationship with the Lord, He will pull us back to Himself. “I will allure her, I will lead her into a quiet place and I will speak tenderly to her. There I will restore her and give her hope, and she will sing as in the day of her youth.”  (Click here for more)

Pray for Me
I knew that God had been drawing her unto Himself in preparation for this retreat weekend, and that He had filled her with a hunger to know Him more. Kneeling in front of her, I reached out and took her hand. With tears welling up in her eyes and a trembling voice, she very tenderly said, “Pray for me”. (Click here for more)

Freedom
I sit here and plead, “Lord, please don’t tell me to write this story, it makes me so vulnerable;” And His answer to me is, “It doesn’t make you vulnerable, it makes you human.”  (Click here for more)

Faithful
Years ago when our daughters, Aubrey and Kendall, reached the college years, my heart struggled with the thought of cutting apron strings and allowing them to grow up away from my touch – trusting them to make the right decisions in an adult world that I wasn’t ready to release them into – worrying that I had not adequately prepared them for the struggle with worldly temptations.   (Click here for more)

Cider
As each woman prayed and lifted this family in prayer, I listened to the sweet prayers and my heart repeated the prayers that were being prayed, and as I listened to their prayers, in my mind, I could see and smell apple cider in a cup with steam rising from the top.   (Click here for more)
