More Joy to You
Joy
to You

Martha Shipman
“His Eyes
Are On Us”
It’s
been a journey of knowing Him more and loving Him more.
Those
times of change –those times of change. They have come again.
I am
expecting another grand baby and I am so happy for my child. Inside
my heart I whine, “why couldn’t I have more kids?” I know God had a
perfect plan for my life. To take the mess ups that I would do and turn
them into good for His Glory! And He has.
Thank you
Father.
There
were years I walked away from our Lord’s will and went my own way.
Those were dry times…times of loneliness and struggle. As I serve Him
today and spend time with Him each day my heart is full of gratitude.
One of thankfulness for the gift of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross.
My lover and friend and shepherd and bread and light and everything
that I need.
When the
‘pity parties’ come and sometimes they still do (although much less) I
invite Him. I dump my thoughts and fears and hopes and dreams to Him
and He hears my heart and what I truly mean. HE UNDERSTANDS. No man can
do that.
“Blessed is
the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his
inheritance, From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from
his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth—he who forms the
hearts of all, who considers everything they do, No king is saved by
the size of his army, no warrior escapes by his great strength, a horse
is a vain hope for deliverance, despite all its great strength it
cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on
those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death
and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our
help and our shield. In HIM our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his
Holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put
our hope in you.” Psalm 33:12-22
God is
ever faithful. Lord, continue to show us your way. We love you, O Lord.
We can
rest in knowing your eyes are on us!
