Teach Me ... O Lord ...
"As for you, the anointed you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all thigns and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit - just as it has taught, you, remain in Him." 1 John 2:14

To Overcome ...
"The word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one." 1 John 2:14

Who?
"This is the love for God; to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world ... Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus in the Son of God." 1 John 5:3-5

Why?
"To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne." Revelation 3:21

How?
"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Luke 10:19

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21

The Bible teaches us that we have already overcome the world because we have faith in our Lord Jesus. But what does that mean in today's terms of living? How do we walk in faith and not become downtrodden by the events, situations and circumstances that surround us? How do we renew our hearts, minds and attitudes toward Christ so that things of a temporal nature don't drag us down? How do we refocus our hearts and minds on things above so that we live in confidence that we have already overcome the world?

Journey with us on this weekend pilgrimage to uncover Biblical truths that will sharpen our awareness of the things that come against us and to learn how to overcome the attacks of this world with God's truth. We will begin our session on Friday night with registration from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. Bring your Bible, a pen and pencil. Our first session will begin on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, we will meet together at 8 a.m. for breakfast and our session will begin at 9:00 a.m. We will have a day filled with Bible teaching, music, quiet time with the Lord, prayer, food and snacks, and many surprises.

We are so excited to be offering the 2007 retreats and are praying for the women that God will bring to each event. We look forward to meeting, learning and worshipping with you. Please invite your family and friends and join us in this journey......
